The local church & Christian education
We make grants to congregations and Christian schools that preach the gospel plainly and disciple the next generation. Our bias is toward institutions with a long record of ordinary faithfulness rather than new initiatives with ambitious projections.
In practice that means we prefer to fund the unglamorous line items — a teacher’s salary, a building repair, tuition assistance for a family that would otherwise leave, a pastor kept in place through a hard year. These are the needs that are hardest to raise money for and the ones most likely to determine whether the work continues.
